Punjab Jail Warden Recruitment
Jail Warden Recruitment in Punjab will start soon. The Punjab Cabinet Standing Committee on Legislative Affairs (SCCLB) has approved the lifting of the ban on recruitment of jail wardens in Punjab jails. Due to the ban on the recruitment of prison guards, various prisons in the province are understaffed.
Committee Chairman and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Raja Basharat approved the matter.
Raja Basharat directed the Inspector General of Prisons Punjab to prepare a summary of the required posts for approval. He also directed the IG to prepare non-controversial religious courses for minority prisoners and get approval from scholars of the respective religion.
After approving the recruitment summary, Raja said that recruiting educated people can improve the culture of prisons. The educational qualification for a prison warden would be matriculation, but there should be scope for more educated people to apply.

The committee also approved some other matters like reconstitution of Charity Commission under Punjab and appointment of five members of DG Khan Development Authority.
the cabinet committee also approved amnesty for those prisoners who had undergone training organized by TEVTA. The SCCLB also approved the establishment of sessions courts in Tehsil Darya khan of Bhakkar district and Tehsil Chowk Sarwar shaheed of Muzaffargarh district.
The advertising and recruitment process for prison guards will begin soon.
Note: Required qualification for the posts should be Matric but candidates with higher qualification will be eligible to apply.

پنجاب میں جیل وارڈن کی بھرتی جلد شروع ہو گی۔ پنجاب کابینہ کی قائمہ کمیٹی برائے قانون سازی (SCCLB) نے پنجاب کی جیلوں میں جیل وارڈنز کی بھرتی پر پابندی اٹھانے کی منظوری دے دی۔ جیل گارڈز کی بھرتی پر پابندی کے باعث صوبے کی مختلف جیلوں میں ملازمین کی کمی ہے۔
کمیٹی کے چیئرمین اور وزیر پارلیمانی امور راجہ بشارت نے منظوری دی۔
راجہ بشارت نے انسپکٹر جنرل جیل خانہ جات پنجاب کو منظوری کے لیے مطلوبہ آسامیوں کی سمری تیار کرنے کی ہدایت کی۔ انہوں نے آئی جی کو اقلیتی قیدیوں کے لیے غیر متنازعہ مذہبی کورسز تیار کرنے اور متعلقہ مذہب کے علما سے منظوری لینے کی بھی ہدایت کی۔
بھرتیوں کی سمری کی منظوری کے بعد راجہ نے کہا کہ تعلیم یافتہ افراد کو بھرتی کرنے سے جیلوں کا کلچر بہتر ہو سکتا ہے۔ جیل وارڈن کی تعلیمی قابلیت میٹرک ہوگی لیکن زیادہ پڑھے لکھے لوگوں کے لیے درخواست دینے کی گنجائش ہونی چاہیے۔
کمیٹی نے پنجاب کے تحت چیریٹی کمیشن کی تشکیل نو اور ڈی جی خان ڈویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی کے پانچ ممبران کی تقرری جیسے دیگر معاملات کی بھی منظوری دی۔
کابینہ کمیٹی نے ٹیوٹا کے زیر اہتمام تربیت حاصل کرنے والے قیدیوں کے لیے عام معافی کی بھی منظوری دی۔ ایس سی سی ایل بی نے ضلع بھکر کی تحصیل دریا خان اور ضلع مظفر گڑھ کی تحصیل چوک سرور شہید میں سیشن کورٹس کے قیام کی بھی منظوری دی۔
جیل گارڈز کے لیے اشتہارات اور بھرتی کا عمل جلد شروع ہو جائے گا۔
نوٹ: اسامیوں کے لیے مطلوبہ اہلیت میٹرک ہونی چاہیے لیکن اعلیٰ اہلیت کے حامل امیدوار درخواست دینے کے اہل ہوں گے۔
