Based in Jamshoro, Jamshoro Power Company Limited (JPCL) is primarily responsible for efficient power generation and competitive O&M management of the power plant system in the best interest of the country. JPCL is also in the process of installing a 2×660 MW Supercritical Coal Power project.

He is responsible for ensuring that procedures as well as all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and other relevant decisions are followed and implemented in letter and spirit. JPCL is looking for a proactive, results-oriented, and professional with established credibility and performance who can effectively perform these challenging tasks in the interest of
Company. The candidate is required to have strong secretarial, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high desire to achieve management goals and objectives.
JOB PROFILE:
The Company Secretary will be responsible for the effective management of the affairs of JPCL’s Board of Directors (BOD) by ensuring that Board procedures are followed and that all applicable laws, rules and regulations, and other relevant best practice statements are complied with. Will be
also to maintain a close connection between management and the board in an effective manner. It will ensure compliance with the statutory provisions of all corporate laws applicable to JPCL and align the wide range of board responsibilities with public sector companies.
(Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013. He will work as a driving force for the Company to contribute towards meeting the requirements of Corporate Governance and the legal implications of the proposed policies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
(a) The candidate must be: (a) a member of a recognized body of professional accountants; OR
(b) a member of a recognized body of a company or chartered secretaries; OR
(c) Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Commerce or Law Graduate from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
AGE:
The age of applicants will not be more than 55 years old from the last date of application.
TENURE:
The employment contract will initially be for two (02) years and may be extended subject to satisfactory performance.
REWARD:
Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
